Rant-age commence!!
VoH had always been one of my most favorite manga *ever* (the only manga that made me laugh out loud in public) and these two are also among my most favorite pairings *ever* (nearly as much as I ship HeeroxRelena and Sasuxsaku). I mean, Violinist of Hameln has the most dysfunctional cast of characters *ever*. Bobobo-Bo-Bobo (another favorite) is random. VoH is dysfunctional. There's a difference. Anyway, I love dysfunctional and I love angst (and canon--woohoo!). Hamel and Flute are practically THE dysfunctional angst couple. You got the demon prince and the human princess--but not only that, Hamel is an utter jerk and Flute has got to be the most comically abused heroine *ever*. Of course, I'm a VoH manga fan. The anime has the honor of being the one anime that surpassed my angst capabilities. Thank goodness the ending of the manga wiped away all residue of over-bearing angst from that ball of torment cleverly disguised as an anime series. Well, I was once again taking a break from work and thought that a quick cute sketch will lighten up the place from my latest SasuSaku (not to mention my last fluff was... a long time ago). And I've been getting back into VoH since mangascans are popping back up. Awww... Hamel is pouting because his hat is off. Gomen, Hamel-kun, I'm just amazingly bad at drawing hats.
