Fear teh angst!!!! XD XD This was done for Simply Love's (a SasuSaku forum I'm in) first contest which came at a baaad time for me. Hence the sketchiness and rush job coloring. I don't remember how long it took me, since I probably worked on it about 5-15 minutes at a given time for the last weeks, but according to openCanvas's event file, the total production time is a little over 2 hours (man, that sure didn't felt like 2 hours).

The original one was titled "First Suicide" which is just me wanting some star-crossed SasuSaku angst XD XD XD Too angsty, I decided, so this is the "happier one" (same position, but replace their kunai with katanas, you'll know what I mean). It's also been quite a while since I drew this amount of blood and gaping wounds in color, hopefully I haven't lost my touch yet, lol XD XD XD

Here's a face detail: I must admit, my favorite part is how I drew the blood down Sakura's face

And here's a higher res version: I just noticed I missed some spots in coloring. Hm...

I remember this being on person's blog as wallpaper and thought it was beautiful, it was a long time ago. I kept stalking that page to see the picture, now I'm happy to see it again. It's really lovely. I'm glad I found this :]

I don't really like SakuSasu anymore, but I love the fight/love scenes. Anything less makes it seem... I don't know. Sakura too pre-Shippuden? ^_^ The picture is so beautiful. And oddly enough, it kind of reminded me of Askerian's (one of the greatest NaruSasuSaku writer/artists EVAR) drawing style.

im not really a big naruto fan but i like this image, the look on sakura's face of sadness,desperation and conviction all at once is well,captavating, i cant help but wonder whats running through her mind. The compisition and the way her head band has blown off and his scarf is in the wind adds to the dramatics, all in all a well put together piece so well done
